Wonderputt is a delightful, browser-based physics game

One thing we like to do over here at Freewaregenius is convert hours of procrastination into something that adds value.

Which is why after spending the better part of an hour playing this minigolf game, I decided to write about it.

Confession: my plan was to publish something else today, but I have no regrets about writing up Wonderputt, because it is such a playful, playable and nicely implemented game that I am sure you will like it. It is also 100% free to play.

How to play: move the arrow around the little golf ball to angle your shot. Pull it away from (or nearer to) the ball to control the shot’s power. One tip: you may want to use your browser’s zoom in function, as it will give you a clearer view of the course.

The verdict: A nice, well made game that can be completed in a sitting. The keywords here are ‘delightful’, ‘casual’, and ‘physics game’. Put them in the same sentence and I almost invariably will sign on ;)

Play Wunderputt here.

I came to your site by chance while looking for a solution to a graphics project that I have been working on for 2.5 years. So glad I found this site. Many, many wonderful programs covered. This little game, I decided to try. I L – O – V – E!!!!!!! it. As an artist, I sometimes get “art block” LOL, and little games like this helps me to forget the problem at hand and get a little rejuvenation going. Refreshed and ready to tackle the project. Thanks for having this. Now, on to research more of your site — day 2 I might add. :o )
