Preview system fonts side-by-side with ‘Fonticate’ (Windows)

Ever wished you could view and compare the fonts on your system quickly? If so, then check out ‘Fonticate’, a small free tool that will let you type in any sentence and display it using all the fonts on your system, simultaneously.

Somebody asked me if I had a tool like this, and as frequently happen I stumbled on ‘Fonticate’ a few days later. What is appealing about it is that you could type in whatever you like and see it displayed in different fonts. It also doesn’t require installation, simply download and run.

Nice find, Samer, but it crashes continually under 32-bit Windows 7 Pro.
BTW, it shows fonts one atop another, not side-by-side ;-)

I personally prefer FontViewOK and FontLoader since they not only preview installed fonts but fonts saved in a folder as well, and they both can LOAD a font without installing it for a temporary use :)

I think the BEST Freeware program that also does this is Nexus Fonts. It also lets you point to a folder to view the fonts within, install fonts from within the program, you can manage sets of fonts etc. It’s very professional looking, and FREE, and there is a portable version.
