This is another alternative and doesn’t involve any crapware etc:

I just found it by doing a search for “soundcloud downloader” on the Chrome Extensions site. This one had the only 5-star overall review (from only 35 reviews in fairness) and it seems to be fine from a quick install point of view. Certainly it works. My only (minor) concern is when installing, you’re warned that it will have access to your data from all websites but this seems to a common warning with Extensions.

      Thanks for this, Mosh

Doesn’t work for me? plain old Firefox 18.01 and the download option doesn’t appear.?
    Installed correctly as well???

Not sure, Acidmank. You might want to check the add-ons section to see if it is enabled.

@ Acidmark: I contacted the developers about this and they confirmed that it works just fine with FF 18.01. It must be something related to your system that is the issue.

I don’t understand why a downloader is required
I normally download directly. For example go to this link
    https://soundcloud.com/#balajipatturaj

After share button, to the right-download button is alreadt available in the website
    Am I correct?

I think that for tracks that you upload yourself or tracks whose uploader has allowed downloading, this is correct. For all other tracks, there is no internal download button.

Thanks for the tip, maybe I’ll give it a try. I’m currently using Torch browser, which is also great, because it works on most video and music sites, you should try it sometime.
