I like this, but I’m looking for an app that can do Windows 7-style window snapping to edges. Windows 7 can do this for top and bottom edge, and I would like to be able to snap left/right edge, as well as corners. Have you come across an app that can do that?

    Many thanks for this review!
I will definitely implement all of these wished features in the next release, (~a week or less) plus I can add another hotkey to resize a window to cover half screen vertically or horizontally.
@Greg: I won’t dare to promise the win7-like snapping to edges, but at least I’ll check what can I do.

Tomorrow I start up a forum on the site with a feature request topic, you’ll be all welcome there.

    Thanks again.

Looks like this developer is a caps lock hater. There’s only one of them on the keyboard, while there are two alt, control, and shift keys. Why use the caps for middle mouse when there are superfluous keys?

    Hi,

Is that program cause any performance downgrade?
do you hook inside the entire system?
Please, if possible, tell a little about the way you implement it and how you listen to the different windows events.
I would like to try it only that I affraid of one more hooking program that will mess my system.
    Do you have Trustee seal?

    Thank you,
    Ben.

    Hi,

Firstly, your website’s amazing and your reviews always thorough and of a high quality. Thanks for the effort!

You may want to do a review on AquaSnap

It’s basically WIndows 7 edge based windows resizing + a few more nice tweaks.
It’s works amazingly well on XP – including visually displaying the translucent ‘portion’ to which the window’s going to get resized

In fact, I’d say it goes a step further than what Windows 7 offers

    Definitely worth a review! I
    Also, at present it’s free

    .

I’ve got another applet which uses the right mouse click on a window’s title bar. Since SecondShell has no facility to turn this feature in it off, I leave SecondShell in suspend mode most of the time. I turn it back on when needing to use one of it’s features.
