Commendable! Great Program. It made several of my mp3 files playable which did not work on my ancient but because of its interface still favourite mp3 player, TrayPlayer from "@maxsoft". It also generally reduces file sizes by several kb. It also can perform all actions at once (see Options => Custom Transformation Lists).

A word of warning: the program has problems in dealing with older, very low bit-rate files (say 8 to 64 kbps) and files with a .mp3 extension which are actually swf, flv or another filetype that a more forgiving mediaplayer may play anyway. It shreds them down to total unusability (file sizes afterwards between ca 0 and 2000 b). If you know what you are doing, and have backups, no problem.

Desirable would be a shell extension so that I could point a directory to the program. The way one opens folders with the program is not necessarily intuitive.

The pickaxe button with the number 4 in it is basically a fix all button. The differently numbered pickaxes have different combinations of fixes to apply. Number 4 includes everything from 1, 2 and 3. :)
