“Grammar Nazis” – Ken, it is the ability of others to write properly, to be aware of good sentence constructs, correct word usage, and the sacrifice (willingly) of their time, to ensure that information is understandable who have ‘far too much time’ to read articles.

To the Grammar Nazis – regardless of the grammar used, everyone understood the review. I was hoping to learn from somebody else’s experience of using the software – not an English lesson. Some people have far too much time on their hands… ;p

It seems that “so difficult to write about…” modifies “those programs” and not “This” and, thus, agrees with the object of the sentence. I concur that the idea would have been better served by a simple subject-verb-adjective statement such as, “This program is difficult to write about because it contains so many functions…”
However, the grammar of the original is not technically incorrect.
