This worked perfectly with programs like Core Temp and I also use Task Scheduler with programs like Xfire which require admin access on startup.

Awesome! I am a newbie on Vista and really fighting hard against UAC.
As a loyal reader of your site, I am using Everything and had the same blocking issue (and absolutely no idea on how to fix it under Vista).
