Not a fan of IrfanView, therefore I strongly second the batch functionality. It is the main thing missing on this program and it might keep me away even though I like it. Batch is need it.

The program does not use windows registry to store it’s settings. The settings are stored in a plain ini text file.
Many people ask me about batch. Take a look at the batch functionality in IrfanView…

I like this program and like Jonnysblog I’ve downloaded the Irfanview plugin. Come in useful for optimising the gifs etc I supply with my scripts.

I use this with infanview and it so easy to use. It aids a nice and speedy workflow from after I’ve downloaded and captured an image to reducing it’s size.

Nice one, especially that it comes bundled with IrfanView.

Not best choice for compressing PNG (OptiPNG is awesome for that) but good one for rest.

When I first read the title for a second I thought you were posting about a software that I plan on posting about soon; that almost made me a sad panda XD.
