@jojo : Getting spam is no. 1 problem to all and actually you can’t believe all the sites you share your email with,starting with sites you don’t know much about in which you used your email or may be social networking or it could have been shared by one of your friend.randomizing names by a Spam mail sending client is not that hard at least for common popular names.So you can’t blame it alone (!)

Looks like the availability of a user name on a given Web site is a combination of the names originality and the site’s number of users.

More generally speaking, trying to google a missing name – even invented, even nonsense – is not that easy

“Hi, my name is Shroumtapouf, and euh… no one compares to me”. I wonder if “Shroumtapouf” is available…

@Anonymous – You can’t trust what this site says since Gmail will not allow you to use names for the account so whilst it says Steve is available you cannot actually use it.

Personally I cannot see the point in this service.

I suppose that there have been ways to do this prior to the availability of this program?

This is a wonderful tool for spammers to seek out email addresses to spam for those systems that use the format email@servicename, such as gmail and yahoo. It may explain why I get so much spam on my gmail accounts.

So far, the most popular one I can find is Steve with only six available.
