that “Web Archives Viewer” is useful but I dont want to use Internet explorer so I hope there’s an alternative for us Firefox/Chrome users

does any one who visits this site actually use IE? I am really curious about this I’m not trying to make a statement.

Firefox is slow on startup because, unlike IE, it’s not loaded into Windows’ RAM on bootup.

And if you really need IE for updates, install the IE Tab and the WindowsUpdates add-ons.

The -only- reason I use firefox is because is the most standards compliant browser. The developers behind it took some time to make their product respect w3c standards. Microsoft was never good at respecting standards imposed by others. IE6 has many rendering bugs
and poor support for many newer CSS properties, so if more people would switch at least to IE7, web developers would be so happy.

The other thing that makes firefox a good browser – its plugins architecture – olso make it slow at startup (The slow startup is not caused by the engine). And, even more, firefox will have a slow startup even with no plugins installed.

So, there is no such thing as the best browse, it only matters witch one works best for you. (Hope it’s not IE6)

Using Internet Explorer for anything other than Windows Updates is like walking through the worst parts of town naked with a target painted on your backside. Why would anyone do that? *ANY* other browser is more secure.

I use IE only to check whether my web design looks correct in this crappy browser. That’s it.
