I have yet to find a satisfactory command line (CL) free zip tool that can encrypt, exclude, etc. With the leading tools there is always some hitch. Does this allow CL? Is it very robust? Thx, Jesp

IndexMaker WILL NOT RUN unless you let it connect to the Internet to do some unspecified (possibly nefarious) stuff! This is a bad sign. I’m very surprised this mini-review was allowed to get this far without the reviewer(s) at-least verifying the software runs without “phoning home”.

The same author, Dirk Paehl, has also produced a highly commendable chkdsk (check disk) utility. Compared to the inbuilt Windows tool it offers a more verbose output, which means you understand better what is happening and what the result is – and it seems less tight in determining if a drive is in use or not. 200k download well worth checking out!
