Thanks Sam. I don't suppose you know how to get MediaMonkey to automagically exchange data with SubSonic Server, do you? I've seen some people also use Songbird but I'm not sure what that adds to SubSonic. The WinAmp DSP RockSteady is a great addition for inline re-encoding, too. (Google them, Samer's anti-spam filters kill posts with too many links. Sorry, I gave up trying to fake it out.)

Nice, but I'd like to see better (less) memory usage, and I'd prefer not requiring Java, but the Album Art & Lyrics feature ROCKS!

Now if someone could just develop a player with these features, adding your requests, plus adding MP3Tunes.com and Pandora.com integration, with auto-MP3-resizing (to less than 10MB filesize for MP3Tunes limit), and the simplicity and memory usage of Foobar2000 or CoolPlayer....

OK, that's a dream, I know, but where would we be without dreamers? ;-)

THANKS!

@Fred Thompson - Use MediaMonkey 3.0, and this genre finder script:

http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15774&sid=fb2faa3a8c84d7aca39554db153d9838

It will automatically grab all Genres from last.fm. I used it on a custom field in mediamonkey to grab multiple tags from artists. This makes organizing my collection so much easier.

Looks like a great piece of software, unfortunately, the program page link is pointing to a download page for Java, so I had to look the correct url (http://www.atunes.org) myself. Anyways, good find!

It sure would be nice if one of the MP3 collection managers would integrate with last.fm, allmusic and pandora to pull multiple genres for each track. For example, suppose you want to play Top 40 love songs from the 90s or Top 100 Guitar Jams from the 80s. There's not an easy way to create these types of playlists right now other than buying a compilation on CD.
