I used to like Lifehacker but it is starting to become a little too life tippy for me. I like DownloadSquad more now. An well of course my own site http://www.noheat.com which is like Lifehacker pre "how to pluck your eyebrows in a car". Nice list btw I have added a few of them to my already huge RSS feed list.

Hi Mama Geri,
I'm really glad you like the site. This is the first time I'm giving culinary tips on Freewaregenius, but Zatar happens to be one of my favorite foods.

Zatar is a mixture of spices that is usually eaten as is with olive oil and bread (and maybe some white cheese or tomato). You can sprinkle it on Humus or Labneh (a spreadable type of youghurt) or whatever you fancy. Its not typically cooked in anything except Manaquish (or manaish/manakeesh/manaesh), which is simply a dough covered in Olive oil and zatar and baked. Having said so I might confess that I've occaisionally put it in chilli.

Now I think I'm going to check to see if culinarygenius.com is available ;)

Hello Samer,
I use "stumbleupon" and that is what brought me here to enjoy your great sight. What I like about you is that you explain things so easy even a non-techie like me can understand. " I added your site to "stumbleupon" I LIKE IT! Thanks for sharing so much information....I enjoyed your site so much I forgot what I signed on to do this evening..lol. I hope you enjoyed your trip to Jordan. Maybe you can help me with a cooking question if you don't mind. I bought something at a middle eastern market called ZATTAR SHAMI...it was a mixture of spices to add to meat. I mixed it with ground beef is that how you use it? I love to try new recipes and the jar didn't have instructions on it. It came from Jordan. Enough from "motor mouth". I never know how to end a reply...Again thanks for your site it's so COOL!

Hey Samer - thanks for the plug (again!) - I will make sure to do a similar post, although I never hesitate to link back to FreewareGenius, as you probably figured out!

Also, I am checking out a few of those other links down the list. As always, your services are appreciated. :)

Samer -

Wow thanks I'm honored to be included in your list :) I've actually been an RSS subscriber to freewaregenius.com for a while now, and I didn't expect to see my site in this post at all. A couple of your favs are also high in my list - LifeHacker, MakeUseOf and Appaholic. I'm off to check out some of the others now
