This is the first time I'm giving culinary tips on Freewaregenius, but Zatar happens to be one of my favorite foods. Zatar is a mixture of spices that is usually eaten as is with olive oil and bread (and maybe some white cheese or tomato). Its not typically cooked in anything except Manaquish (or manaish/manakeesh/manaesh), which is simply a dough covered in Olive oil and zatar and baked.
