It is interesting to compare the simulated eye-tracking heat map produced by this site with the click map produced with CrazyEgg. Obviously, “looking” and “clicking” are two different things (and CrazyEgg data is produced through the actions of real humans, rather than a very good algorithm), however if you are a web designer who is interested in usability and conversions (whether sales, or in drawing people deeper into your site for some kind of desired action), using these tools in conjunction is a must.

The only issue I found when I used it was that Feng GUI did not work properly when I inputted the URL of my site. However, it worked with the screenshot, so if you do get stuck, just take a screenshot and use this to get your eye-tracking simulation.
