[...] 1- Killing a process with the mouse: all you need to do is set Daphne to "kill process", then grab the crosshairs and drop them on the window. This will end the process instantly, and avoid the need to hunt for the name of the associated process in a list and/or going through multiple steps to get it shut down. (Note: you can also do this with Revo Uninstaller; see this posting). [...]

Cool!
And to think I've only used Revo for Uninstalling! Thanks! ...actually, I mostly use SAFARP http://wistinga.online.fr/safarp/ these days - loads up FAST, as in about a second! =)
Another look shows lots of other neat tools, and Safarp and Revo both work portably, and are on my 'Tools' thumbdrive!

Unless I'm missing something, though, this won't kill processes that don't have visible windows. I just find it easier to use an alternative to TM, with Sysinternal's Process Explorer being my current go-to app. But to each their own.

I've been needing something like this. My computer has been refusing to close certain windows lately. I downloaded this and within minutes had a need for it again...and it worked perfectly. No more forced shutdowns! Unlike other sites, every entry you put up is useful. Great work!
