This is my 2-pane explorer of choice - I have to agree with 'trouble remembering hot-keys, PLUS I'm pretty much a 'keyboard-only' user, and there are some 'non-standard shortcuts' - ie, I'm used to 'Ctrl H' for 'Help', and Xplorer2 uses 'Ctrl P' (helP) - minor nuisance!

I have tried this program and it seems to be everything I have always wanted in explorer; one thing that is bugging me however is the fact that when you click from one window to the next, the tree in the left window doesn't move / focus on to the new directory... Have I missed something?

BTW, keep up the good work!

If you appreciate the Commander-like interface (including keystrokes, directory navigation by typing, etc), the 2007-06 version of FreeCommander ( http://www.freecommander.com/ ) is fantastic! Also, this software is free (there is no registered or 'full' version). Give it a try... (I used to use xplorer2-lite before converting to FreeCommander, as many of the functions I need are only in the xplorer2 full version).

I haven't been using it for too long and am not familiar with the version history, but according to his site 'The only difference is that the free version can't have more than 3 browse windows opened at a time.' For what its worth since I started using it last month I am very happy with it.

Rg,
I tried Konrad's AC Browser a long time ago; I remember the free version was signifiantly handicapped for me to exclude it from a possible review.
