I like Revo, and it was my uninstaller of choice until I discoverd IOBit Uninstaller. Does everything Revo does, but comes in a small portable self-contained executable that does not need installation. And I prefer the way IOBit displays the files and registry entries that are candidates for deletion.

Very nice program, deleted all traces of Foxy when the scandal of the program happened somewhere in China. Especially like the Hunter Mode, and by the way, Version 2 is out now, with a completely rewritten interface and more utilities and tools. You should review it Samer.

I made a registry cleanup the other day, and ended up with two programs opening with full windows when they were supposed to open up minimized in the tray, like they had always done. Normal uninstall / reinstall didn’t help. But Revo cleaned the apparent residues of former installations, and now everything’s just fine. Can’t say it improved my life in all ways or on all levels, but it did what was needed. That was pretty good, I think.

I have been using Revo Uninstaller for a while now and it works great.

I have had no issues with it and I like the fact that it scans your system, after the uninstaller of the software you want to be removed has finished, and searches for registry entries and left files. This way you are sure that there are no traces that are left by the programs.

Also a cool feature is the “AutoUpdate” feature. It allows you to check if you have the latest version of Revo Uninstaller.

A must-have application !

I recommend everyone to use it.

No program is 100% idiot-proof. If you can’t figure out how to use this program without blowing up your machine then just ask the nearest twelve year old and they can explain it to you.

When Revo deletes junk it stays deleted.

This software is total piece of crap.

Do NOT install!

-It deletes critical reg. keys and mess up the op. system after few times you use it.

-Isn’t able to determine which keys remove, and you have to choose them…manually.

-no useful features, just a crappy uninstaller.

Best solution: CCleaner ZSoft Uninstaller

A good freeware find! I have installed it on 4 of my machines, and they all work great. I appreciate the simple way you can erase history and the like with ease. Plus, I am now in control start-up / autorun programs in one interface, meaning I don’t have to open each program and figure out a way for it not to load when windows starts. This SW is well worth trying out.

A dangerous feature: “pre and post-uninstallation scans to identify residual files/folders and registry entries”.

The user need to know what he does.

ZSoft Uninstaller allows better and efective uninstall.
