This program no longer exists on SourceForge. It is still still freeware in a sense, but contains OpenCandy (those of you who know what that means, will positively avoid installing it) and is now considered adware because of its altered programming.

i guess im a noob or something but this did not help me at all and all i got was a program that wanted me to get alot of other junk with the download including setting my homepage to a known spyware/adware homepage freeze.net so i uninstalled it and still have remanants of this program that tells me the administrator that I need permission to delete it whats up with that? and it dosent show in the add/remove programs option wonder why? well thanks anyway seems like its actually a really good program but i dont want to have to get firefox as well, it just wants to much other stuff for its functionality but like i said im a noob any info on how to get whats left of it off after i did the uninstall from the folder would be a big help. ty jd noob

You may want to take a look at SUPER (Simplified Universal Player Encoder & Renderer) at http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html.

I’ve been using it since its early days and must say this program is awesome. It converts everything I fed into it without problems.

However: the links on the page http://freewaregenius.com/2007/01/18/mediacoder/ (Mediacoder)
seem to point to http://www.soldat.pl site, I found the mediacoder at mediacoder.sf.net (SourceForge)
