Comments on: DVD Flick

When I click the create dvd button, it gives me a warning that says “tTe destination folder already exists. Do you want to replace it? All information will be lost.” When I click “yes,” it goes through the LONG encoding process again. When I click “no” it doesn’t do anything. What can I do to proceed?

audio is out of sync but other wise works fine

someone said it works fine with Windows 7 but all I have found is it not working at allwith windows 7? Tried everything and all I get are error codes which try to find an answer to what they mean? There is no real technicle help like most free software they let everyone help each othere in the forums. This is the best free program for windows XP ecept that since I upgraded to the last version I found that almost all the movies I copy have a sound problem of being way off. Never had that with the earlier version of DVD Flick.

No body else has mentioned the problem I am having. In the middle of the encoding, my whole computer shuts off. What the hell is that about? I know you can set it to shut down upon completion, but I haven’t selected this, and it’s right in the middle. Any help with this one?

Have always used DVD Flick, never had a problem, audio and video always match, volume no problem, can’t understand why people are getting this problem. I use it to convert and burn .avi files.

I have been using dvd flick. On every movie that i have converted and burned with the program the volume does not match the video. The video is a second or two ahead. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I have burned many discs using DVD Flick. As many have commented, the audio and video is often out of sync on playback. Does anyone have any suggestions on how this problem might be fixed? Has anyone managed to resolve the problem and would post your magical solution here. The out of sync problem doesn’t always happen, but occurs more frequently than not. Otherwise, I would have to say that overall I really love using DVD Flick. It is easy to use and except for the audio/video sync problem, I highly recommend it!

I’ve been looking around and trying some freeware to copy video files to DVD. This was one of the first i tried. It looks much more professional than alot of others and very easy to use, but i get the picture and audio out of sync like someone else mentioned. Others i tried were Cucosoft which was excellent and much faster, but you get a watermark in the middle of the screen (to encourage you to buy it – ie then no watermark). Another one which really is THE simplest interface there is, with no features but gets the job done well, is DVD Video Soft Free Video to DVD Converter. I tried others but they either didn’t work or were to finicky or you had to buy it after a few tries. Anyway i hope this helps.

DVD Flick works great for me, I’ve burned at least 100 DVDs with it & notice the quality variations are probably file related…GIGO!
Also, I hold the ‘High Scores’ in the ‘Entertain Me’ (Tetris) zone!

Great program. However, 6-channels audio is not encoded properly. Sounds are not coming out of each speaker as they should. If you want stereo or 2-channels, it is fine. This is the only thing that mars a good program.

I HAVE HAD DVD FLICK FOR A YR. NOW AND WHEN I ADD A FILE DVD FLICK CONVERTS IT AND WHEN IT FINALISES IMGBURN AUTOMATICALLY BURNS MY DISC BUT WITH THE NEW UPDATES FOR SOME REASON IMGBURN IS NOT WRITING MY DISC WHY?.

i tell ya i have been lookin for 2 weeks for a program that would work and this one works just fine..but..where can i get more menus for my dvds?..u know the titles screen backgrounds..im kind of a noob to this whole burning dvd thing..but this program DOES WORK..and its pretty easy to use…
