This is a nifty utility that I use at work. If you’ve ever felt like you’d like to differentiate some of the folders that you work with or make them stand out from the rest, this software can help.

Foldermarker is a very small program that allows you to change the color and/or appearance of your folders straight from the context menu. It also allows you to load and use your own custom folder icons. Very handy!

Version initially downloaded IS FREE, but it will prompt you that the “new version” is available for download. It does NOT tell you on the prompt that the new version is a trial version (though it looks worth buying…). Just ignore the new version prompt.
Unfortunately, the free version has memory leak error, they even admitted it in response to my mail (but commercial doesn’t – it figures).
