I’ve been using this software for years and cannot recommend it enough. You can expect to:
- Speed up your downloads
- Have the ability to pause/resume downloads
- Manage your downloads, inlcuding control download speeds and define alternate download URLs
- The recent version also supports flash (swf) downloads.
- Upcoming versions (1.80 and above) will feature support for Bittorent downloads.
Note: This version of Flashget “calls home”, which is apparently related to the ShareURL mirror service. This is a URL sharing service that helps users simultaneously downloading a file to speed up their downloads. If you do not want this you can turn off this service from Options > Mirrors.

have u try FreshDownload? it is fastest download manager i ever use.. 10x much better than commercial download manager. and what i can see here u didnt give a review bout it so i recommend u to use this and write a review. thanks

this is very good download manager. it help us to speed up downloads and not having any problems in between downloads. its far better than trial versions and all…. go ahead and be a flashget champion…

I have tested tyhis program in the veresion 1.3 or 1.4 from Jett car and works pretty cool for doanlaoding files from Mutiply.com > did not tested the newer versions so far
I prefer using FDM for any other cases

Hmmm, unfortunately time and again there are warnings of spyware about this program, recently again. Cannot confirm this, didn’t want to take the risk. Also the site is unreadable and confusing, being chinese.
Free Download Manager for me.
I used FreeDownloadManager for years and would happily recommend it. For torrents you’re better off with µTorrent.
I am surprised at PC tools using such bogus tactics to sell their product. I come looking for flashget only to find it is a fictional product designed to lure people to a page that sells PC tools.
